Summercrest offers its residents privacy and independence in a home-like setting with the added security of an experienced and caring staff. It provides congregate living for elderly persons who prefer the comfort and safety available at Summercrest, but do not require the services of a nursing home.

Summercrest's two-story 28,000 square foot clapboard building is reminiscent of a New England-style inn, while accommodating the various needs of its individual residents. It is nestled in a quiet setting of natural beauty just a half mile from downtown Newport, featuring 24 studio, ten 1-bedroom and two 2-bedroom apartments. These 36 units are flexibly designed to accommodate individual tastes.
The facility offers a variety of opportunities for socialization, therapeutic services, exercise and wellness programs.

Providing support, education and comfort for people caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's disease or another type of memory loss.
3rd Tuesday of every month.
5:30 to 6:30 pm.
